This Vivitar Zoom Thyristor 265 Flash is a classic, all-purpose flash for older mechanical film cameras. It has a Guide Number of 80 and is capable of zooming the head between three settings: Wide, Normal and Tele in order to accommodate different focal length lenses. It has a manual and two auto settings in flash. The 265 does not work with TTL flash metering.  It uses four AA batteries.

It should not be used with any modern electronic camera due to potentially damaging voltage output.
